The WVA&LVLA Code of Conduct for Responsible Gaming states: The members of the West Virginia Amusement & Limited Video Lottery Association pledge to our employees, business associates, and patrons to make responsible gaming an integral part of our daily operations throughout the State of West Virginia.

This pledge encompasses all aspects of our business, from employee assistance and training to alcohol service, customer support, lobbying efforts and member and public education and information dissemination.

The WVA&LVLA is also affiliated with the West Virginia Council on Problem Gambling whose mission is to increase public awareness of problem gambling, ensure the widespread availability of treatment for problem gamblers and their families and to encourage research and programs for prevention and education. The WVA&LVLA and the WVCPG conduct several Responsible Gaming Training sessions statewide annually.
